This is the first recording by Pari Zangeneh since the revolution. She sings folk songs with a chorus to avoid restrictions on women singing solo. But her voice is distinct enough and a pleasure to listen to after all these years. The music on this "Hezaar aavaa" CD has been arranged by Maliheh Saiedi.
